Brooklyn Nets vs Chicago Bulls Match Prediction & Analysis
With the Chicago Bulls and the Brooklyn Nets both sitting 2 and 3 games behind the Eastern Conference leaders, both sides will be hoping to keep that small differential in place as they face one another this week. Both teams have had very similar field goal attempts this season with the Bulls shooting 91.6 shots per game while the Nets have managed 88.2 shots per game so far.
Despite the disparity in attempts the Nets have been the better side in converting their shots as they have a field goal conversion rate of 40.8 while the Bulls have a very similar ratio of 40.2 but with more shots attempted it is natural that their percentage is a tad bit lower than that of the Nets.
Two teams that have very similar identities and playing styles usually provide bettors with favorable odds and the following slips should prove to be beneficial.

Teams Preview
Brooklyn Nets Preview
After a lackluster pre-season matchup where they lost 3 of their 4 games the Brooklyn Nets have managed to salvage few points during the regular season as their current record after five games stands at 2 wins and 3 losses and are currently in eleventh place in the Eastern Conference standings at the time of writing.
Losing their first two fixtures of the season on the road to the Atlanta Hawks and the Orlando Magic they did manage to get a win on their record during their first home game of the season against the Milwaukee Bucks as they beat them by a scoreline of 115-102.
During these first three matchups former LSU graduate Cam Thomas was the main man for the Brooklyn side as he had two 30-plus point games and averaged a total of 30.6 during these first three games.
Despite the 23-year-old’s contribution to the team the Nets eventually lost their second home game to the Denver Nuggets in an overtime 144-139 loss and while Cam Thomas did score 26 points during this game it was Germany’s FIBA world cup winning star Dennis Schroder that led the scoring on the night with 28-points.
While they had a record of 3 losses and 1 win in their opening four games and had only managed to win at home up until that point, the Nets finally got their first away win of the season against the Memphis Grizzlies with Schroder once again acting as the main catalyst for his team as he scored 33-points and dished out 8 assists during his team’s 119-106 win against the Tennessee side.
With a pretty average start so far, the Brooklyn Nets will be hoping to do better as the season progresses and with a 50-50 record at home this season the Nets will be hoping to make the Barclays Center a fortress once again as they welcome a side they have been fairly successful against during the regular season.
Chicago Bulls Preview
While the Brooklyn Nets have had a pretty basic start to their campaign so far, the Chicago Bulls on the other hand have been dealt with a mixed bag of results too but have managed to win a game more than the Nets in the same number of games turning their fortunes completely as they sit pretty high on the Eastern Conference standings ranking third in the ladder and only sitting behind the undefeated Cleveland Cavaliers and the defending champions in the Boston Celtics.
Currently 2 games behind the Cavaliers the Bulls will be hoping to keep the gap at that number as big wins against the Memphis Grizzlies and the Orlando Magic have revived their season in the best of ways as after an initial record of 1 win in 3 games had left them with a pretty dismal record and with these wins against big opponents the Bulls have now skyrocketed to the top half of the table and they will be hoping to keep up this fine form as the season progresses.
With an initial loss against the New Orleans Pelicans where they lost by 12 points the Bulls made a great comeback against the Milwaukee Bucks and seemed to be in the groove as they hosted Oklahoma City in their arena for their third game of the season.
A hopeful start eventually turned into a bitter loss for the Bulls against an in-form OKC side as a 114-95 loss seemed to have derailed their season but after two back-to-back wins the Bulls and Zac Lavine have found their form and will be looking to make it three wins out of three as they travel to the big apple for an important tie against the Brooklyn Nets.

BROOKLYN NETS vs CHICAGO BULLS
Winning PredictionWith both teams having stakes that will decide how their early season form will be the two sides will be locked in during their fixture on Friday evening and with both teams having a similar start to the season so far, the match up will be a close one especially given their indistinguishable style of play and attempts made so far. Despite the striking similarities the history surrounding the fixture has favored the Brooklyn Nets and given that they are at home again the Brooklyn side should come out as victors on the night.
