NLEX Road Warriors vs Phoenix Fuelmasters Match Prediction & Analysis

NLEX Road Warriors will have their first opportunity to close out the quarterfinal series when they face the Phoenix Fuel Masters in Game 3. NLEX has won both opening games and will look to maintain its offensive production through Robert Bolick, Schonny Winston, and import Deonte Burton.

Phoenix, meanwhile, faces an elimination game and needs a complete performance from Marcellus Earlington, Ricci Rivero, Kai Ballungay, and its supporting players. The Fuel Masters must improve their defensive execution, protect the ball, and find a way to contain NLEX’s multiple scoring threats. NLEX has the momentum, but Phoenix will be fighting to keep its campaign alive.

Teams Preview

NLEX Road Warriors Preview

NLEX defeated Phoenix 124–117 on October 28, taking a commanding 2–0 lead in the quarterfinal series. Robert Bolick and Schonny Winston led the Road Warriors with 31 points each. Bolick also recorded six rebounds, four assists, and three steals, while Winston added four rebounds and two steals.

Import Deonte Burton contributed 24 points and 10 rebounds, while Kevin Alas scored 12 points off the bench. NLEX trailed 72–68 at halftime and was still behind 94–93 after three quarters, but a decisive 9–0 run in the fourth quarter gave the Road Warriors control.

NLEX should continue relying on the combined scoring ability of Bolick, Winston, and Burton, allowing each player to take responsibility depending on the defensive matchup. Bolick's playmaking and outside shooting can create opportunities for Winston to attack, while Burton's strength and interior scoring provide another dimension.

Defensively, NLEX must prevent Phoenix from getting comfortable early, contain Earlington around the basket, and limit Rivero and Ballungay's scoring opportunities. The Road Warriors should also focus on transition defense and ball security, as Phoenix is likely to play with greater urgency in this elimination game.

The NLEX Road Warriors on average, score 115 points per game, they score 48% from the field and 36% from the arc.The NLEX Road Warriors grab 38 rebounds per game.

Phoenix Fuelmasters Preview

Phoenix suffered a 124–117 defeat despite producing a much-improved offensive performance. Marcellus Earlington led the Fuel Masters with 22 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and three blocks. Ricci Rivero and Kai Ballungay contributed 21 points each, while Gian Mamuyac scored 18 points with eight assists.

Ken Tuffin added 17 points, and Tyler Tio finished with 15. Phoenix held a 72–68 halftime lead and was still ahead 94–93 entering the fourth quarter. However, turnovers and NLEX's decisive fourth-quarter scoring run prevented the Fuel Masters from securing the victory.

Phoenix must maintain its offensive aggression while improving its execution during crucial stretches. Earlington should continue attacking inside and creating scoring opportunities, while Rivero and Ballungay need to provide consistent scoring support. Mamuyac and Tuffin can help stretch the floor and create opportunities from the perimeter, with Tio contributing additional backcourt scoring.

Defensively, the Fuel Masters must disrupt Bolick's rhythm, prevent Winston from getting comfortable offensively, and contain Burton's drives to the basket. Most importantly, Phoenix must reduce turnovers and avoid allowing NLEX to generate easy fast-break points.

The Phoenix Fuel Masters on average, score 108.9 points per game, they score 42.7% from the field and 39% from the arc.The Phoenix Fuel Masters grab 40 rebounds per game.

NLEX ROAD WARRIORS vs PHOENIX FUELMASTERS

Winning Prediction

NLEX has a significant advantage after winning both opening games and demonstrating its ability to produce points through multiple offensive options. Bolick, Winston, and Burton have been particularly effective, making it difficult for Phoenix to focus its defense on just one player.

Phoenix has the offensive talent to challenge NLEX, but its defensive consistency and turnover management remain major concerns.
